Senior Process Engineer (Electronics)

Working Day: Monday - Friday (1 Saturday per month)

Job Introduction:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Process Engineer to ensure the reliability and continuous improvement of our mechanical parts manufacturing processes. This role involves comprehensive oversight, support, and problem-solving across the production floor, working closely with operators, quality control, technicians, and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mindset for continuous improvement and cost reduction.

Job Duties:

• Provide daily monitoring, support, and solutions for all manufacturing process issues to ensure production consistently meets company goals.
• Develop, document, implement, and update work instructions of the manufacturing process, from incoming materials to outgoing products, ensuring strict compliance in production.
• Track yield, process capability, and quality performance; lead failure analysis and drive corrective actions as well as continuous improvement.
• Conduct training for operators, quality controllers, and technicians on production methods, machine operation, quality inspection, and initial failure analysis.
• Initiate, define, and execute process improvement plans to enhance the robustness of manufacturing processes, including eliminating non-value-added steps, reducing cycle time, optimizing process steps, implementing error-proofing, and reducing material waste.
• Lead the team in evaluating and implementing end-to-end changes in manufacturing processes, machines, materials, production line layouts, and environmental factors to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Support cross-functional teams (e.g., New Product Introduction, Maintenance, Planning, Quality, Production) for the relevant production process to achieve cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
• Ensure the timely and organized storage and maintenance of all engineering parts or samples.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineer.
• At least 5 years of experience in process engineering in manufacturing or a similar function.
• Understanding of people management, cost control, project management, and capacity planning.
• Proficiency in utilizing engineering and technical tools to solve problems and improve production processes, such as data collection, statistical knowledge, FMEA, 8D reports, and 7 QC tools.
• Strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as a key owner and a collaborative team player.
• An independent, self-starting individual who can work with minimum guidance, demonstrating strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
