• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and maintaining automated production machinery.
• Assist in analyzing equipment downtime reports to identify recurring issues and improvement areas.
• Define, implement, and document long-term corrective actions for identified weak points based on time and data analysis.
• Assist in the creation and upkeep of standard times, work instructions, process flows, and preventive maintenance (PM) schedules — including execution and recording.
• Review actual spare part usage against expected consumption to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel to manage spare part inventories, including scheduling orders and monitoring stock levels and reorder points.
• Train, or coordinate training for, local staff in equipment maintenance (e.g., PLC programming, electrical systems) and overall technical competency.
• Communicate any updates or modifications made to automation systems and ensure machine documentation — such as manuals, technical drawings, and equipment history — is current and accessible for repair and training purposes.
• Assist production teams in machine setup, adjustment, and preparation for new products, component versions, and changes, ensuring alignment with all relevant departments.
• Support and follow up on special projects and assigned tasks, including equipment setup for special production runs, cost-reduction trials, and standardization initiatives.
• Participate in the installation, setup, and qualification (homologation) of new machines and automation equipment.
