Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
   - Develop and implement claims strategies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
   - Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and competitive positioning.
   - Drive digital transformation in claims processing (e.g., automation, AI, analytics).
2. Operational Management
   - Oversee end-to-end claims operations for motor (auto) and/or non-motor (property, liability, health, travel, etc.) insurance lines.
   - Ensure timely and fair claims adjudication while minimizing leakage and fraudulent claims.
   - Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure claims team productivity and accuracy.
3. Financial & Risk Management
   - Analyze claims data to identify trends, control costs, and improve loss ratios.
   - Work with underwriting and actuarial teams to refine pricing and risk assessment models.
   - Manage large/complex claims and litigation in collaboration with legal teams.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
   - Liaise with reinsurers, third-parties , and service providers.
   - Maintain strong relationships with regulators, auditors, and industry bodies.
   - Provide management-level reporting to the Head of Claims on claims performance.
5. Team Development
   - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing claims team.
   - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centric service.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).

2. 15+ years in insurance claims management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (VP/Director level).

3. Proven track record in managing motor (auto) and/or non-motor (property, liability, health, travel, etc.) claims.

4. Deep knowledge of claims best practices, regulations, and fraud detection techniques.

5. Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.

6. Expertise in claims software, digital tools, and predictive analytics.

7. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

8. Ability to drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

9. Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.

10. Leadership presence with the ability to inspire teams.

11. High integrity and commitment to fair claims practices.

12. Good command of English and Computer literacy.
