Buyer Officer
PTT Retail Management Company Limited.- Ensure adherence to high company standards for safety, environmental awareness and business ethics.
- Determine respective categories: product mix, pricing, merchandising, and promotional strategies.
- Analyze consumer, industry, and category performance to develop category strategies and tactics.
- Develop category goals & strategies & tactics, monitor category performance, and take corrective action as required.
- Ensure revenue and profit are achieved.
- Cultivate resources both internally and externally to leverage expertise on assigned category.
- Collaborate with other buyers/GCM to ensure strategies are aligned.
- Work with suppliers to develop and enhance promotions within our stores.
- Negotiate and establish contracts / supply agreements with vendors.
- Review and provide builds on POG.
- Review assortment, category performance, pricing, and promotion effectiveness.
- Ensure all OI is invoiced.
- Provide feedback to designers and other marketing personnel on all programs to improve our market position.
- Being professional as company representative.
- Bachelor’s degree, an MBA is an advantage.
- Merchandising knowledge and retail experience are an asset.
