Scope of Job:
Responsible for leading mechanical engineering activities, including advanced CAD/CAM design, BOM management, sheet metal fabrication, and welding process optimization. This role ensures engineering excellence in product development while driving manufacturing process improvements and enhancing production efficiency through technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and drawing a mechanical components using advanced CAD software.
- Create nesting and optimize CAM programs for Laser, Punching, and Bending machines.
- Generate an accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and maintain engineering documentation.
- Design a sheet metal component and develop fabrication processes and tooling.
- Specify welding procedures, inspect welding quality, and troubleshoot welding issues.
- Support the Production Manager in production planning, scheduling, and capacity analysis.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing standards, procedures, and work instructions.
- Develop and implement ISO quality management system documentation and procedures.
- Operate and maintain ERP system (LN software) for production process management.
- Preparing technical reports and cost analysis.
- Support customer technical inquiries and participate in design reviews.
- Maintain professional engineering ethics and safety standards in all activities.
- Ensure all production activities comply with ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) requirements and support audits, documentation, and corrective actions as necessary.
- Support and contribute to ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) by minimizing environmental impact, managing waste properly, and adhering to related procedures.
