JOB SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, administers all facets of an advanced, distributed IT system supporting a designated functional area of IT operations. Conducts planning and coordination for system utilization and performs growth analysis and capacity planning. Execute systems and applications analysis/design and implementation to deliver a diverse range of innovative solutions to complex challenges. Develop project plans. performs installation, maintenance, improvement, training, and user support as required. Plans and coordinates projects to fulfill future requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages multiple Windows server roles: AD, DNS, WINS, GPO, O365 and On-premises Email systems, File Server, SharePoint, etc.
- Configure, manage, monitor, troubleshooting, and optimize
- Virtualized servers and storage systems
- Backup systems and DR software.
- Windows and Linux Operating system
- Identity Access Management (IAM)
- Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
- Endpoint Detection and Response: EDR and Extended Detection and Response: XDR
- Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Secure Mail Gateway
- Virtual Load Balancer
- Day-to-day operational and projects tasks within the IT Infrastructure team.
- Implement and manage patch management, software distribution, operating system deployment, and hardware and software inventory.
- Conducts growth analysis and capacity planning of infrastructure resources.
- Provide on-call consulting advice and technical support to various users/client organizations regarding specific operational/application issues.
- Researches, evaluates purchases, installs, configures, and troubleshoots all hardware, peripherals, and equipment necessary to meet integrated systems objectives.
- Support document for internal and external audit, review, implementation, and maintenance of IT policies and procedures including security, system administration, backup, data recovery, and DR site.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
