- Identify, evaluate, and select qualified overseas suppliers in alignment with company procurement standards.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process including RFQs, price negotiations, purchase orders, and shipment tracking.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., engineering, production, quality control) to ensure procurement meets technical specifications and timelines.
- Monitor supplier performance and develop improvement plans to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data in ERP systems.
- Stay updated on international trade regulations, import/export requirements, and logistics trends affecting procurement.
- Participate in cost reduction initiatives and strategic sourcing projects.
- Communicate proactively with global vendors and internal teams in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in international purchasing or supply chain roles, preferably in the automotive or aerospace industry.
- Good understanding of Incoterms, import/export procedures, and international logistics.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- TOEIC score 600 or above (required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with suppliers in Asia, Europe, or the U.S.
- Familiarity with ISO/IATF16949 or AS9100 (for Aerospace industry).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or cost-saving strategies in procurement.
