About the role:
As a Planning Engineer at CHEC (THAI) CO., LTD., you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of construction projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and efficient utilisation of resources.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor construction progress across projects, analyze deviations between actual performance and planned schedules.
• Implement and maintain project control systems to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain Master Schedule Programs using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with Critical Path Method (CPM) and resource allocation.
• Prepare weekly/monthly internal reports, including S-curve Cost Variance (CV), to support decision-making for Project Managers.
• Deliver monthly presentations to review overall project status, risks, and mitigation strategies with stakeholders.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for project delays and prepare Extension of Time (EOT) claims under varying contractual terms and conditions.
• Revise weekly plans to adjust manpower/equipment resources on critical paths, ensuring alignment with milestone targets in the Master Schedule.
• Develop Catch-up Plans to expedite progress and coordinate execution teams for timely deliverables.
