1. Management Duties
- Performs administrative duties including establishing circulating procedures and establishing and revising rules of library use.
- Help prepare the Library's Budget for the Academic Year.
- Works cooperatively with administrative, academic and support staff.
2. Cataloging, Classification and Technical Processing of Library Materials (print and non-print) (Thai Books and Bilingual Books).
3. Library System Administrator (Follett Destiny)
- Perform ongoing database maintenance work (editing or deleting library holdings).
4. Collection Management / Selection and Acquisition
- Organise the library resources according to the set of library standards.
- Conduct collection analysis as basis for collection development.
- Prepare Collection Development Policy for Thai Books.
- Compile requests and recommend library materials to be purchased.
- Submit inventory results to Head of department.
- Prepare a list of references by subject if needed or upon the request of the library patron.
- Maintain the materials’ condition through inventory, weeding and repairing.
5. Professional Development
- Pursues professional growth activities in order to keep abreast of new information and development in the field.
- Participates in professional development activities relating to education, librarianship and information technologies.
- Continues to acquire knowledge through in-service education and academic courses.
6. Other
- Performs circulation desk procedures, such as checking in and checking out materials and registering patrons.
- Process library materials.
- Do reference services by answering queries from library clientele.
- Promote reading using some library promotions like displays and book talks.
- Deliver library items to teachers.
- Coordinates with Thai Head teachers in promoting library activities.
- Checks in deliveries.
- Does typing and filing.
- Processes, withdraws, repairs, or reconditions library materials.
- Shelves library materials and reads shelves.
- Assists librarians with library programs and displays.
