Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting• Prepare, review, and validate internal and external financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, fixed assets, cash flow statements, and related disclosures, in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities to ensure completeness, accuracy, and on-time reporting.
• Perform technical accounting analysis and draft position papers to support the company’s treatment of complex accounting matters (e.g. revenue recognition, leasing standards, equity-related transactions).
• Liaise with external auditors by coordinating audit schedules, supplying required information, and supporting audit and review processes.
General Accounting & Operations
• Supervise and review general ledger and sub-ledger activities performed by junior accounting team members when required.
• Perform detailed reconciliations of complex accounts and ensure proper maintenance of all financial records, including fixed asset accounting.
• Initiate and lead continuous improvement efforts within the finance function to enhance process efficiency and data accuracy.
• Design and implement process flows and optimized workflows to improve the effectiveness of accounting operations.
• Utilize analytical capabilities to identify patterns, investigate variances, and support management decision-making.
• Develop and implement practical and innovative approaches to strengthen financial reporting quality and operational performance.
