Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead and optimize our sourcing and procurement activities, with a strong focus on the flexible packaging industry (บรรจุภัณฑ์แบบอ่อน/เช่น ถุงพลาสติก ถุงช้อปปิ้ง แผ่นฟิล์มสำหรับบรรจุอาหาร). The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in purchasing raw materials and components related to Blown Film extrusion, laminated films, and flexible packaging applications. You will be responsible for supplier development, cost analysis, and international sourcing to support efficient production and growth.
Location: นิคมอุตสาหกรรมสินสาคร อำเภอเมืองสมุทรสาคร
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that support the business goals and manufacturing operations in the flexible packaging industry
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and supplier agreements with a focus on long-term value
- Sourcing new vendor and evaluate both local and overseas vendors for materials such as PE, PP, PET resin, master batch, film rolls, and printing supplies
- Monitor cost of raw materials trend./Stay up to date with market trends in raw material pricing, especially resin and packaging films
- Analyze cost structures and recommend cost-saving initiatives across the procurement process
- Collaborate closely with production, R&D, quality assurance, and logistics teams to align procurement with operational needs
- Ensure supplier performance, quality, and delivery reliability through continuous assessment and improvement
- Support import/export activities and ensure compliance with relevant international trade regulations
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Polymer Science, Packaging Technology, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the flexible packaging or plastic film extrusion industry
- Strong knowledge of Blown Film technology, film converting processes, and flexible packaging materials
- Proven ability in sourcing from international vendors and managing cross-border negotiations
- Good command of English (spoken and written) – must be able to handle international communication effectively
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor relationship management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with ERP or procurement systems.
