1. Operational management
- Ensure lab efficiency and manages costs;
- Manage lab employees in a motivating manner;
- Supervise the competency of lab employees, stimulate personal development and discuss this in performance appraisals;
- Train lab employees, specifically regarding quality related matters;
- Establish and ensure HSE regulations and standards to be properly implemented in lab;
- Make proposals to develop the quality system;
- Maintain contact with clients and suppliers.
- Support with clients acquisition and marketing activities.
- Look for new opportunities and scope expansion of services.
2. Quality management
- Establish and launch the internal quality programs and procedures to standardize technical activity. - Supervise and manage all aspects related to the quality system to ensure it operates effectively
- Plan and attend quality meetings
- Collect and manage client feedback
3. Technical management
- Understand methods comprehensively, be able to demonstrate, train and assess analysts for analysis proficiency;
- Periodically participate in test performance to find out non-conforming activities or operation deviation due to incompliance and improve execution;
- Supervise lab employees/yourself to interpret and process data/measurements in the correct way;
- Initiate the development of new techniques and analyses including validation and proposal regarding innovation.
