
IRPC Public Company Limited or ‘IRPC’ (“Company”) formerly known as Thai Petrochemical Industry Public Company Limited or ‘TPI’ has been registered in 1978.
TPI was transformed into a public limited company on October 10, 1994 and listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) on March 17, 1995. In 1982, the company started as a manufacturer of Plastic Resins and gradually broadened its product lines as well as instruments and facilities to become a fully- integrated petrochemical complex.
The Company has suffered from financial crisis after the Thai government announced the switch to managed-float exchange rate system in 1997 and put efforts into debt restructuring process in 2000 and successfully completed on April 26, 2006.
Today, IRPC Public Company Limited, together with its subsidiaries become Southeast Asia's first fully integrated petrochemical company whose factory is located in its own industrial park in Rayong province where supported facilities such as a deep sea part, tank farm and a power plant are equipped.
