The Asst Manager Material Planning will be responsible for end-to-end material planning activities, ensuring a seamless supply of finished goods, raw materials, and packaging materials to meet production schedules and sales demands. This role will serve as the central liaison between Sales, Export, Procurement, Warehousing, and Production to ensure alignment, reduce waste, optimize inventory, and support efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Material Planning & Coordination
• Develop and execute detailed material requirement plans based on demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory policies.
• Manage planning for finished goods and coordinate backward planning for raw materials and packaging.
• Align planning activities with new product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Sales & Export:
o Regularly review demand forecasts, sales orders, and export schedules.
o Translate sales plans into material planning to ensure product availability across markets.
• Procurement:
o Provide timely and accurate raw/packaging material requirements.
o Collaborate on lead times, supplier capacities, and order timelines to mitigate risks.
• Production:
o Balance capacity, material availability, and labor considerations.
• Warehousing & Logistics:
o Ensure optimal inventory levels in warehouses for both raw and finished goods.
o Minimize stock-outs and overstock situations while ensuring timely distribution.
3. Inventory Management
• Maintain healthy inventory levels and safety stocks in line with company policies.
• Monitor slow-moving or obsolete materials and initiate action plans for reduction.
• Drive continuous improvements in material flow, planning accuracy, and inventory turnover.
4. Systems & Reporting
• Generate and analyze reports for forecasting accuracy, material availability, and planning KPIs.
• Participate in S&OP meetings and drive planning input for cross-functional alignment.
