The Junior Accountant (Accounts Payable & Tax) is responsible for supporting the recording and processing of accounts payable transactions, verifying supporting documents for accuracy and completeness, and assisting in tax-related processes such as withholding tax and value-added tax (VAT). This role ensures compliance with the Revenue Department regulations and internal company policies. The position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and legal compliance of the company’s payment and tax processes.
Key Responsibility:
Taxes Submission
- Prepare and submit relevant tax forms such as PND.3, PND.53, and PP.30 accurately and on time.
- Review tax data for accuracy before submission.
Invoice Verification
- Verify invoices and supporting documents to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Accurately record accounts payable transactions in the system.
Payment Processing
- Prepare payment documents and coordinate with relevant departments for approval.
- Record payment transactions in the accounting system.
Vendor Reconciliation
- Reconcile accounts payable with invoices and payment records.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
Document Filing & Compliance
- Organize and file accounting and tax-related documents systematically.
- Support both internal and external audit processes.
Other Support Duties
- Assist in preparing necessary documents for internal or external audits.
- Support other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
