About the role
Join NGK CERAMICS (THAILAND) CO., LTD. as a Quality Supervisor in our Samut Prakan location. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards throughout our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in upholding our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
What you'll be doing
The company launch the new product. You are our pioneer group.
• Responsible for the planning, leadership, supervision and operational execution of the Inspection department.
• Providing direct line supervision to inspection department and quality coordination amongst Team Members Provide active line management of lab output and direct interface with manufacturing and other support departments.
• Responsible for plant quality - audits, inspection, quality engineering, first article reporting, non-conformance and supplier quality.
• Responsible for packaging and shipping finished goods in compliance with customer specifications and acceptable shipping practices.
• Establish a sustainable culture of continuous improvement Drive improvement to the department key performance metrics.
• Manage plant quality operation to include inspection operations, staffing and scheduling, Lab capacity and throughput.
• Responsible for Quality team development and effective interdepartmental communication Establish a sustainable culture of continuous improvement.
What we're looking for
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in the manufacturing and not less than 3 years in supervisory role.
• Strong technical understanding of quality control principles, tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret quality metrics and trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with team members and stakeholders.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Able to respond during non-working hours and holidays.
• Advanced knowledge of GD&T techniques.
• Significant experience of Quality system implementation and working practices.
• Working knowledge and application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Manufacturing best practices (Lean, 5S, GMP).
• Require knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and 45001.
