• Develop, document, implement, and continuously improve work instructions for manufacturing processes, ensuring full compliance on the production floor.
• Establish and maintain end-to-end process control plans—from incoming material to final product—ensuring regular updates upon any changes and strict adherence during production.
• Monitor process yield and capability; analyze failures and gaps; lead cross-functional teams in executing corrective actions and driving continuous improvement.
• Track quality performance indicators; investigate deviations and lead improvement initiatives focused on process-related quality issues.
• Provide hands-on training to operators, quality inspectors, and technicians on part manufacturing, machine operations, quality checks, and basic failure analysis.
• Lead the assessment and disposition process for non-conforming materials, in-process inventory (WIP), and finished goods.
• Initiate and implement process enhancement plans (4M & 1E), focusing on improving process robustness through waste elimination, cycle time reduction, process simplification, error-proofing, and material efficiency without compromising quality.
• Take ownership of evaluating and executing changes or new implementations in manufacturing processes, equipment, materials, production layout, and work environment to ensure consistent product quality. Ensure clear documentation and communication throughout the project lifecycle with all relevant stakeholders.
• Provide technical input, risk assessments, and lessons learned to support the introduction of new products or projects.
• Oversee and contribute to the completion of 8D reports (fully or partially depending on the case) for issues related to manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate closely with other departments—such as Maintenance, Production Planning, Quality, and Operations—to ensure seamless execution and alignment with cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
• Ensure proper storage, cleanliness, and timely clearance of all engineering parts and prototype samples.
• Prepare and deliver management reports, including weekly/monthly updates, improvement progress, project status, and KPI tracking.
