Responsibilities

Overseas Purchasing

1. Identify and evaluate potential international suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery terms.

2. Conduct market research and global sourcing to discover new suppliers and alternative products.

3. Negotiate contracts, prices, incoterms, and payment terms with overseas vendors.

4. Monitor supplier performance, conduct audits, and resolve issues related to quality, shipment delays, or contract discrepancies.

5. Collaborate with logistics and finance teams to streamline the international purchasing process.

Local Sourcing

1. Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers and manufacturers.

2. Conduct cost and quality comparisons to optimize the local supply base.

3. Monitor local market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction or risk mitigation.

4. Negotiate local contracts and ensure timely delivery of materials.

5. Ensure suppliers meet quality standards, safety regulations, and sustainability requirements.

6. Support supplier development initiatives to enhance capabilities and performance.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, International Trade, or any

2. 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management, with exposure to both international and local procurement.

3. Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, incoterms, and import/export procedures.

4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

5. Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
