- Supplier Selection and Management
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on technical capabilities, pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
- Conduct new supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Cost Management
- Perform cost comparison for tooling and part sourcing.
- Understand cost structures and estimate basic tooling/part costs.
- Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing.
- Cost Control and Improvement
- Initiate and manage cost reduction activities through VA/VE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) projects.
- Cooperate with suppliers for continuous improvement.
- QCD Performance
- Collaborate with suppliers to maintain and improve QCD performance in line with company targets.
- Documentation and Compliance
- Prepare and control sourcing documents in accordance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and customer-specific requirements.
- Job Assignments
- Support additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Materials, Mold Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- 2+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
- Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and ability to read technical drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and sourcing-related tools.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficient in English communication.
- Willing to travel.
- Driving license required.
- Knowledge of Chinese is a plus.
