Responsibilities
• Perform month-end closing procedures, year-end closing procedures, and budget support. Oversee the day-to-day activities of the accounting department and ensure that all important project month-end and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Prepare for financial audits and coordinate the audit process. Maintain accounting controls by preparing a chart of accounts and establishing accounting policies and procedures. Direct other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policies and applying them. Observations and recommendations on operational issues, maintaining financial stability by creating internal controls.
• Avoid legal challenges by understanding current and proposed laws, enforcing accounting regulations, and introducing new procedures. Protect your organization's values by keeping information confidential.
• Update your job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining a personal network, and participating in professional organizations.
• Accomplish the accounting and organizational missions by achieving relevant results as needed.
• Manage and control whoever is in charge to ensure smooth accounting and financial operations. "Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes." Assist in quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and annual corporate financial control audits.
• Evaluate current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements. Review and analyze financial statements to ensure they are accurate and complete.
• Perform ad hoc and project analysis as requested. Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions.
• Develop employees through performance management, setting goals, continuous training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
• Work with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely closing and reporting at year-end. Collaborate with the head office and group companies on financial and accounting issues.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Necessary Skill / Experience


• Age 40-50 years
• Female Gender
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• At least 8 years of experience in Accounting and Financial statement closing.
• At least 3 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or the Chief Accounting Director.
• Must have working experience of general accounting principles, cost accounting, BOI and tax accounting and be ability to set up accounting systems well.
• Conversational high-business level in English. (listening and writing, to communicate with the president)
• Able to use MS Office.
• Experience in a Public Limited Company and understand the preparation of financial statements of the Stock Exchange is a must.
• Must have CPD license.
• Able to work every Saturday.
• Able to attend face to face interview.
• Have TOEIC score 600 up is an advantage.
• Have working experience in Steel industry is an advantage.
• Experience in financial statements in a company that has subsidiaries abroad and understands international financial standards will receive special consideration is an advantage.
• Living in Pathum Thani or Ayutthaya or nearby provinces is an advantage.
• Able to speak Japanese with the Japan branch and internal staff is an advantage.
