Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assist in the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
• Provide first-level support for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, escalating when necessary.
• Perform routine monitoring and maintenance tasks to ensure system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address infrastructure requirements and support project implementation.
• Document infrastructure changes, processes, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
• Support the deployment of security updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain compliance.
• Participate in user training and provide technical support for basic IT infrastructure-related issues.
Stay updated with foundational IT infrastructure technologies and tools
Required Skills & Competencies:

• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, including hardware, networks, and operating systems.
• Familiarity with server management, storage solutions, and basic networking concepts.

• Ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve basic technical issues.
• Logical thinking and analytical skills to troubleshoot infrastructure-related problems.
3. Communication Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and end-users.
• Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

• Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and processes.
• Adaptability to dynamic project requirements and priorities.
6. Attention to Detail:
• Precision in performing routine monitoring, maintenance, and documentation tasks.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure role, including internships or co-op programs.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are a plus.
• Coursework or foundational knowledge in networking, server administration, and IT operations is desirable.
• Hands-on experience with basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues.
• Exposure to operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and basic networking concepts.
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools or IT ticketing systems is preferred.
