- Ability to use SQL for data preparation and Python for predictive modeling and data exploration
- Train predictive models related to auto title loan approval, such as car depreciation models and loan-to-car-value optimization based on risk assessment. This includes working with data from loan applications, credit bureau, vehicle information, and alternative data such as mobile banking and location data. A solid understanding of the auto loan business process is required.
- Build risk models to assess potential bad debt and future losses using data and behavioral patterns of current customers.
- Develop collection models to guide debt collection strategies—determining how often and in what ways to follow up with customers in different segments.
- Build propensity models to identify potential customers who are likely to need auto title loans, helping to optimize marketing budget allocation and targeting.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency in data science tools such as SQL and Python.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
