QA/QC Manager _ Construction
CHEC (THAI) CO.,LTD.- Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the project quality management system (QMS).
- Establish and enforce Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), quality procedures, and checklists.
- Review and approve method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Lead and supervise the QA/QC team, including engineers and inspectors, across civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Manage and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and third-party laboratories on quality matters.
- Prepare and submit quality reports, records, and documentation as required by the contract.
- Ensure materials and workmanship comply with international standards (ASTM, ACI, BS, EN, ISO) or Thai standards.
- Support project handover by preparing as-built documentation and final quality dossiers.
- Provide training and guidance to site teams to improve quality awareness and compliance.
- Ensure integration of quality requirements with safety (HSE) and environmental management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in QA/QC for large-scale construction projects, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems, construction codes, and international standards.
- Familiar with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with consultants, EPC contractors, and subcontractors.
- Proficient in MS Office and construction-related software.
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
