Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and review equipment layouts, piping systems, and structural supports for petrochemical plants.
2. Ensure high-quality design and technical accuracy in engineering drawings, material quantities, and project scope definitions.
3. Prepare engineering documents including Specifications, Data Sheets, Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), and Technical Clarifications (TC), and provide technical support to the procurement team during vendor selection and order placement.
4. Develop and maintain 2D and 3D piping drawings/models in accordance with engineering practices, project specifications, and applicable standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in piping and stationary equipment engineering, including fabrication, inspection, installation, and commissioning.
- Able to calculate, design, and develop 2D/3D Piping and Stationary Equipment including Material take off (MTO), Bill of Quantity (BOQ), Material purchasing, Cost estimate, Scope of work, Bidding package (TOR), Inspection, NDE, Fabrication, Installation, Pressure test, Flushing & Cleaning, Painting, Insulation and Pre-Commissioning
- Experience working with contractors or engineering companies involved in petrochemical plants, refineries, or power plants will be an advantage.
- Proficient in engineering design software such as AutoCAD 2D/3D, SolidWorks, or equivalent programs.
- Ability to apply engineering codes and international standards relevant to assigned tasks.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including experience supervising or coordinating with team members.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
