• Plan and monitor daily operations related to EAF, Ladle, Tundish, and Slide Gate.
• Establish trial plans and methods for new materials/practices, and maintain records.
• Collect and analyze data on trials, incidents, refractory performance, and steel-making processes for reporting.
• Supervise and guide the team on proper refractory/mechanism installation practices.
• Coordinate with customers for routine tasks, new projects, and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with sales to manage stock checks and calculate material consumption for invoicing.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations on performance efficiency.
• Ensure effective inventory control and provide information for MRP.
• Update and maintain ladle plans to optimize performance.
• Create draft drawings for new products during the RFQ process.
• Liaise with HR regarding work schedules and team welfare.
• Produce daily refractory reports for customers.
• Review and update work instructions related to Vesuvius products.
• Set up and monitor maintenance plans for slide gate mechanisms at customer sites.
• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of steel production and refractory works.
• Proficient in English; Chinese is a plus.
• Experience in multi-site operations is preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience is advantageous.
• 1-3 years of experience in steel production, refractory works, or a related field.
• Energetic with leadership qualities, strategic thinking, and self-motivation.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and capability to coach others in refractory areas.
