- ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ : สถาปนิกที่ดีต้องมีความคิดสร้างสรรค์ สามารถทำความเข้าใจความต้องการของลูกค้าหรือผู้ว่าจ้าง ออกแบบงานได้ตอบโจทย์กับความต้องการ และสอดคล้องกับบริบทเงื่อนไขข้อจำกัดต่าง ๆ เพื่อสร้างความพึงพอใจให้แก่ลูกค้า
- ความละเอียดรอบคอบ : การออกแบบอาคาร จำเป็นต้องอาศัยความละเอียดรอบคอบ เพื่อให้มั่นใจว่าอาคารมีความแข็งแรง ปลอดภัย และสามารถใช้งานได้จริง
- ความรับผิดชอบ : สถาปนิกต้องมีความรับผิดชอบต่อผลงานของตนเองและต่อลูกค้า ซึ่งงานทั้งหมดจะเสร็จสิ้นได้ ก็ต่อเมื่อลูกค้าได้ทำการเซ็นรับมอบงานเรียบร้อย ในระหว่างนั้น หากเกิดปัญหาใด ๆ หรือมีข้อผิดพลาดในระหว่างการก่อสร้าง สถาปนิกจะต้องเป็นผู้ดูแลและแก้ไขปัญหาต่าง ๆ อย่างรวดเร็ว
