Site Engineer at Samui

Job overview;

 Site engineer overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Project Oversight: Supervise all construction site activities, ensuring projects progress according to timelines, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Team Management: Coordinate and oversee construction teams, ensuring tasks are carried out effectively, efficiently, and safely.
  •  Budget Monitoring: Track project costs and budgets, making necessary adjustments to maintain financial control.
  •  Material Management: Manage the procurement, delivery, and usage of materials to prevent delays and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations, conduct regular audits, and promote a culture of safety on-site.
  • Reporting: Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports, documenting site activities and project progress.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality assurance processes, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to build strong working relationships.
  • Financial Tracking: Assist in monitoring project expenditures, tracking costs, and preventing budget overruns.
  • Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of construction activities, budgets, materials, and any project changes.

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in construction or project-based work; experience in new villa construction is a plus.
• Certifications: Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) are beneficial but not mandatory.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding and hands-on experience in civil engineering construction techniques.
• Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage teams and coordinate projects effectively.
• Problem-Solving: Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to troubleshoot and adapt to challenges.
• Stakeholder Management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• English Proficiency: Good communication skills in English, particularly in speaking and listening.
• Legal Requirements: Must have full working rights in Thailand.
