Responsibilities:
- Develops and updates the foam machine technical specifications, TPM standard procedure, and quotation checklist of foam plants with JVs process and maintenance teams.
- Provides technical support, on-site or remote, to foam machine troubleshooting, and helps JVs to achieve foam line machine utilization larger than 93% annually.
- Works with JVs on machine automation, innovation, and safety to improve working efficiency for labor hour reduction and product quality stabilization.
- Establishes and share Asia foam lines machine database. Helps JVs for spare parts localization and share.
- Gives new foam line launch support, and confirms the new line meet the quotation scale and Adient technical specifications.
- Leads and cooperates machine supplier development with JVs, and introduces qualified suppliers to global team for machine export.
- Develops training courses on machine design, maintenance, failure and countermeasures, and innovation.
- Bachelor’s Degree or above, major in automation, mechanics, or electrical engineering preferred.
- Have at least 5 years of working experience with high pressure foaming machine, Krauss Maffei and Hennecke machines highly desired. Familiar with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components and concepts.
- Proven experience on Intouch, Visual Basic, or Java for machine programming, Solid experience on robot.
- Capable to handle multi projects at one time. Good at program management and communication with JVs. Can make frequent travel, >50%.
