Join Our Team as a Production Planner!
Are you detail-oriented and passionate about planning and coordination? We are looking for a Production Planner to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
What you'll do
- Process timely release work orders in quantities that support upper-level demand.
- Define, monitor and adjust planning as conditions in the processes or demand stream change.
- Generate and respond to ERP/MRP reporting to ensure intact schedules and priorities are properly defined for the shop floor, procurement, business manager, etc.
- Maintain weekly/monthly production schedule, execute the subsequent MRP cycles where applicable to support the desired schedules.
- Provide professional Customer service by responding to customer inquiries, communicating change orders/schedule impacts, and escalating any challenges.
- Participate in production meetings and assist with necessary administrative functions.
- Interact with other Company departments to ensure system data is accurate, outputs are valid, and changes that affect shop load and scheduling are communicated.
- Define, monitor and adjust planning as conditions in the processes or demand stream change.
Who we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in production planning, material planning, or supply chain management
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Intermediate level of English both written and spoken
