Business Analyst Officer (Platform / Solution-focused)

Job Overview

We are looking for a technical, solution- and delivery-oriented Business Analyst to drive end-to-end delivery for a complex Car Rental & Sales platform.

This role goes beyond traditional documentation—success is measured by working solutions, release readiness, and stable operations. You will work closely with business users, developers, QA, and vendors to define system flows, integrations/APIs, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.

Documentation is kept lightweight and delivery-driven (not BRD/SRS-heavy).

This is not a software developer role (no coding required), but you must be able to collaborate deeply with engineers on technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Solution & Delivery Ownership

• Analyze business needs and co-design end-to-end solutions with stakeholders
• Own requirements from discovery → design → delivery → go-live → stabilization
• Manage requirement changes, conduct impact analysis (scope/timeline/dependencies), and align trade-offs

Technical BA / Integration Focus

• Define system workflows, functional flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with engineers to define integration/API requirements (interfaces, data mapping, validation rules, error scenarios, dependencies)
• Support integration delivery by aligning teams on interface specifications and end-to-end flows

Agile Execution & Quality

• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, release planning, and ensure “definition of ready/done” alignment
• Work with QA and developers to design test scenarios/test cases, support SIT/UAT, and triage defects
• Support deployment activities, post-go-live stabilization, and continuous improvement

Operations & Vendor Collaboration

• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure delivery quality, timelines, and SLA adherence
• Support incident/problem management by clarifying requirements, impact, and business priority

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience as a BA / System Analyst / Technical BA in complex systems or digital platforms

• Strong in solution design and system workflows (end-to-end thinking)

• Hands-on experience with user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting SIT/UAT

• Comfortable working in Agile or hybrid environments (backlog refinement, sprint planning)

• Experience working with integrations/APIs and data mapping (able to communicate with engineers using API concepts)

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work closely with developers and own delivery outcomes

• Experience in platform-based systems, multi-vendor environments, or high-dependency integrations

• Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman (or similar tools)

• Experience with journey mapping, wireframes, or basic prototyping tools

• Domain experience: automotive, rental, sales, finance/insurance

• Candidates seeking documentation-only BA work (BRD/SRS-heavy as the primary output)

• Candidates with limited exposure to integration/API delivery or end-to-end system flows

• Candidates who prefer strict handoff models (BA → Dev → QA) without delivery involvement

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in BA / product delivery roles on complex systems or digital platforms
• Strong in solution thinking: system workflows, functional design, and impact analysis
• Hands-on with Agile, user stories, acceptance criteria, and testing support (SIT/UAT)
• Comfortable working daily with developers and owning delivery outcomes
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with platform systems, integrations/APIs, data mapping, multi-vendor environments
• Familiarity with journey mapping, wireframes, basic prototyping tools
• Domain experience: automotive, rental, sales, financial systems
