- Responsibility, through a regular system of school evaluation, for maintaining high standards of learning and progress for students receiving SEN support.
- Ensure that SEN support supports curriculum requirements and expectations for each student.
- Employ a wide variety of teaching and learning strategies to make learning both effective and enjoyable.
- Planning and collaborating with the class teacher to help SEN students access the curriculum as much as possible
- Attendance at all parent meetings and events.
- Assist the SENCo and Head of Student Support Services to manage agreed strategies for improvement in teaching and learning in SEN.
- Responsibility for the organisation of SEN documentation, including tracking documentation.
- Support identified students as directed to help develop their academic and social skills.
- Support the Homeroom Teacher and Head of Student Support Services with administrative tasks as required.
- Undertake other tasks, such as Playground Duty, as instructed by the Head of Student Support Services and Principal.
- Good command of English
- Had experience in a shadow teacher in International school is a plus
- Proactive, energetic and with a passion for service
