GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Cluster Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations and compliance of multiple hotel properties under the PCL Hospitality portfolio. Reporting directly to the Corporate Finance Director, this role ensures that all hotel-level accounting activities are aligned with corporate standards, hotel accounting systems, and Thai financial regulations. The position requires frequent site visits and coordination with property-level finance teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
🔹 Financial Management & Reporting
Oversee monthly and year-end closing processes for all assigned hotels.
Review and validate P&L statements, balance sheets, and financial reports prepared by each hotel’s accounting team.
Ensure accuracy and timely submission of financial reports to corporate management.
Analyze variances and provide commentary and corrective action recommendations.
🔹 Internal Controls & Compliance
Monitor and ensure compliance with PCL Hospitality’s financial policies, accounting standards (TFRS), and relevant laws (including Revenue Department & SSO).
Conduct financial audits and ensure proper internal control procedures are in place at each property.
Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies across the cluster.
🔹 Coordination with Hotel Teams
Work closely with Hotel General Managers, Financial Controllers, and Accounting Supervisors to support financial planning and performance tracking.
Act as the key point of contact between property-level finance staff and the Corporate Finance Director.
Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to onsite finance teams.
🔹 Budgeting & Forecasting
Coordinate and consolidate the annual budgeting process for assigned hotels.
Assist in preparing rolling forecasts and cash flow planning.
Monitor CAPEX and OPEX against approved budgets.
🔹 System Implementation & Efficiency
Ensure proper use and integration of hotel accounting systems (e.g., PMS, POS, accounting software).
Recommend system or process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial data.
🔹 Mobility & On-Site Support
Willing and able to travel regularly to properties located in Bangkok, Pattaya, Khao Yai, Koh Samui, and other PCL Hospitality-managed locations.
Provide on-site financial support for pre-opening hotels, internal audits, and month-end processes.
